Spanish director Daniel Calparsoro will direct the thriller Incident at Sans Asylum for Ghost House Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment.

The movie follows a group of struggling musicians who start working part time as short order cooks in an asylum. According to Variety, they find themselves trapped amongst the criminally insane when a thunderstorm knocks out the electricity.

S. Craig Zahler wrote the script. Production is scheduled to start later this summer.
