Danielle Panabaker will head to a unique new school for her new project. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Panabaker has signed on to play the female lead in Prodigy.

Chuck Russell is directing from Dan Kalstein's script, which is based off his own 2006 novel. The story revolves around a private school that guarantees to turn teenagers into geniuses through a specific regimen of diet and drugs and a half-million-dollar tuition. Panabaker will play the smart daughter of a Senator who starts to question the school's administration after several alumni are found dead, which may involve another student (Max Theriot).

The film will start production this October in Valencia and Alicante, Spain.
