Danny Glover's Louverture Films and Sir Ben Kingsley's Bipolar Pictures are teaming up to produce a film on the friendship between Albert Einstein and Paul Robeson.

Variety reports Kinsley will play Einstein and Glover will play Robeson in the yet-untitled project. The film will focus on Einstein and Robeson as part of the campaign in 1948 which tried to persuade U.S. President Harry Truman to make lynching a federal crime.

The film will go into pre-production and will shoot in South Africa in late 2006 and early 2007; no director has been chosen as of yet.
