After winning audiences over with her portrayal of Janet on The Good Place, and most recently as the charismatic Greta Hill on the A League of Their Own, D'Arcy Carden is ready for a new challenge, and she'd like it to be by the hand of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Currently, the actress is promoting her most recent work with Jennifer Lopez and Josh Duhamel in Shotgun Wedding, an action-packed romantic comedy, something that seems to be no stranger to Carden, as revealed in a recent interview with IndieWire:

"There was an episode of The Good Place where I got to do a 10-minute fight scene and I worked with this amazing stuntman, a legendary stunt guy named Jeff Amato, and that was my first real dive into stunts where I was like, 'I love this.' And then we got to do a ton of stunts on A League of Their Own, working with this amazing stunt team. The more, the better. I would be very, very thrilled to do more of that. Marvel, I'm waiting!"

What MCU Projects Could D'Arcy Carden Join?

X-Men The Animated Series
20th Television

Currently, Marvel Studios has a wide gallery of projects in development. On the one hand, the company is looking for the protagonists for its version of The Fantastic Four, for which there are rumors practically every day about actors and actresses who have met with the studio to bring Reed Richards, Sue and Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm to life.

Another of the most anticipated films for next year is Deadpool 3, which will surely feature a good number of mutants now that Disney once again has the rights to the X-Men universe, so there is a vast number of characters available there that the actress could easily take. The same goes for Blade, which will also be introduced to the MCU in 2024.

As for the series, one of the most anticipated projects is the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock in Daredevil: Born Again, which, although it already has its protagonists covered, can also be the prelude to the entry of new characters related to the world of the Devil from Hell’s Kitchen and The Defenders.

Carden could also lend her voice to an animated project, with series like What If...? or X-Men '97 being great opportunities, considering the gallery of characters and stories each of these productions offers.
