The suit makes the man. That's the statement boldly declared on an official photo from Marvel's Daredevil as it prepares for Season 2 in Spring 2016. Netflix sent out the promo via the show's official Twitter, which finds Matt Murdock's iconic red costume boxed up, sitting next to his walking cane.

Charlie Cox, who plays blind lawyer-turned-Hell's Kitchen vigilante, spent most of Marvel's Daredevil Season 1 fighting crime in a black bandana and matching tactical wear that cloaked him in the shadows of the night. That look was inspired by Frank Miller's iconic Marvel comic book run. It wasn't until the very end of the last episodes that we got to see Daredevil slip into his more recognizable, and certainly more iconic, red costume. As this latest sneak peek indicates, Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 is picking up right where we left off. And the new suit will be seen on the streets of Hell's Kitchen in full-effect.

Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 began filming on location in New York City last month. The show still has a few months before it returns in April of 2016. And it will be coming after Netflix launches it's second Marvel series Jessica Jones. Charlie Cox will reprise the title role of Daredevil. Also coming back for more are Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, aka The Night Nurse.

Marvel's Daredevil Season 2 has fans excited for the simple reason that both The Punisher and Elektra will be making their small screen debuts in these latest episodes. Jon Bernthal is playing the new Frank Castle, the third actor to take on the character in a live-action project. And Elodie Yung is taking on the role of ass-kicker Elektra Natchios. Leaked set photos have offered us a first look at The Punisher, but Elektra has yet to be spotted filming any of her scenes in NYC.

It's expected that Vincent D'Onofrio will return as Kingpin in some capacity, but as viewers of the first season know, he's not exactly in the streets anymore. His role will most likely unravel behind-the-scenes as he takes on a puppet-master role. Bullseye is expected to be the Season 2 main villain, but no one has been cast just yet. Jason Statham had considered taking on the iconic Marvel baddie, but walked away once news of his participation leaked.

Matt Murdock is certainly going to have his hands full this year, as an appearance from the mystical ninja clan known as The Hand is also expected. Looking at this official photo, with the Red Costume in a drawer, it's hard to tell if the suit is identical to the one we saw on screen in Marvel's Daredevil Season 1 or if it has been altered. There is still no DD logo on the chest, an iconic signature from the Marvel comics. Well certainly know more as we get closer to the April premiere date. In the meantime, enjoy this latest photo while you can!
