Netflix has released a new teaser for Daredevil Season 3 and it features the return of Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio) from prison. The streaming platform also released a synopsis for the upcoming season, which premieres next month. In addition, Matt Murdock is back, bloodied, bruised, and things look uncertain after the events of The Defenders. Murdock is wearing his vigilante costume this time around as Kingpin puts on his iconic white suit and trademark cufflinks. The 30-second teaser is the perfect way to get fans of the hit series hyped for a the upcoming season.

The short teaser for Daredevil Season 3 emphasizes good and evil, starting with Kingpin putting on his crisp white suit, looking pretty intimidating after serving some time behind bars. The teaser then flashes to Matt Murdock standing in front of a fire with blood on his face. He can be seen throwing his clothing into the fire, along with his sunglasses. At the last moment, he puts on the vigilante version of his mask over his eyes. The latest teaser footage doesn't look like it's from any upcoming episodes and was more than likely filmed for promotional material purposes.

Matt Murdock has been missing for months and shows up in Daredevil Season 3 as a broken man, putting his future as a lawyer and Daredevil into uncertainty. Murdock looks content in hiding out, but he's going to have to choose whether to remain in the shadows, or take on Kingpin. Since we see the tease of the vigilante suit, it's safe to assume which path Murdock is going to take, and it's something that fans have been waiting for ever since the first season of the popular Marvel and Netflix series.

However things pan out, Matt Murdock is certainly embracing the darkness that is within him, especially after the last teaser showed him in a confessional complaining about how many times the law has let him down. Season 3 of Daredevil looks to be quite different than the previous installments, with a focus on the aforementioned darkness. It will be interesting to see Murdock and Kingpin interact with each other again, in what will more than likely be an all-out war.
