Marvel, working alongside the streaming service, has debuted the first photo from this highly anticipated small screen adaptation of the popular comic book, giving us our first look at Charlie Cox as blind lawyer Matt Murdock.

Marvel's Daredevil first costume is inspired by Frank Miller and John Romita Jr.'s seminal Daredevil: Man Without Fear, a series that is widely considered to be one of the most important and influential Daredevil stories of all time. The image harkens back to the original art by John Romita Jr. that inspired the costume.

Also announced at the New York Comic Con panel were new cast additions Ayelet Zurer (Vanessa Marianna), Vondie Curtis-Hall (Ben Urich), Bob Gunton (Leland Owlsley) and Toby Leonard Moore (Wesley).
