Italian horror master Dario Argento is gearing up to direct the film Giallo, which will star longtime collaborator and daughter Asia Argento. According to Variety, the project will be an English-language homage to the films that made Argento a legend.

Ray Liotta is gearing up to headline this thriller, which revolves around the serial killings of some very beautiful woman. Liotta is likely to play the cop that is committing these crimes. He will inter into a cat-and-mouse like game with a psychopathic perpetrator to be played by Vincent Gallo. Jim Agnew and Sean Keller wrote the screenplay.

Giallo will start shooting this February in Turin, the Northern Italian city where Argento shot his most recent slasher Mother of Tears, which also starred his daughter Asia Argento.
