Dark Side of the Ring will soon return to Vice with all new episodes, with a 2-part season premiere kicking off the second season. Set to premiere on Tuesday, March 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on VICE TV, the season 2 opener will explore the infamous murder-suicide of former WWE champion Chris Benoit and his family, which is perhaps the darkest time in the history of professional wrestling. A new trailer for the show's upcoming season 2 premiere has also been made available online, and you can take a look at it below.

It's not surprising to see Dark Side of the Ring using two episodes to dive into the tragic tale behind the Benoit family, as there's really a lot to unpack from that horrifying story. A beloved fan favorite wrestler very well known to millions of WWE fans worldwide, Benoit shocked the world when the pro wrestler murdered his wife, Nancy, and their seven-year-old son Daniel before hanging himself using exercise equipment. Speaking about the incident will be several of Benoit's family and friends, including his older son, David, and Nancy's sister Sandra Toffoloni. "That definitely was not him. He's still my hero," Toffoloni says of Benoit. "I think I do, someday want to forgive him... it's not today."

As also revealed by VICE TV, wrestling superstar Chris Jericho will be serving as the narrator for season 2 of Dark Side of the Ring. His insight into the Benoit tragedy should be interesting as well, as Jericho worked with Benoit for many years and were very close friends outside of the ring as well. "I need to talk about this. If you're going to say I'm glorifying a murderer, stop listening right now," Jericho can be heard saying in the new trailer. Vickie Guerrero, who was married to Benoit's friend and fellow wrestler Eddie Guerrero, also appears in the trailer to speak about the relationship between herself and her late husband with Benoit.

Several more tragic stories from years gone by in the wrestling business will be explored in Dark Side of the Ring season 2. This includes the bizarre murder of Dino Bravo; the controversial "Brawl for All" tournament that led to career-ending injuries; the brutal story of legendary hardcore wrestler New Jack; the time when David Schultz slapped a 20/20 reporter on television to defend the wrestling business; the mysterious death of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's girlfriend Nancy Argentino; the story of the Road Warriors, Hawk and Animal; Herb Abrams' attempt to build his own wrestling empire; and the tragic death of Owen Hart, who fell to his death in the ring during a stunt gone wrong.

VICE TV will premiere season 2 of Dark Side of the Ring on Tuesday, March 24 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. After the two-part series premiere, weekly one-hour episodes will then follow weekly on Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on VICE TV.
