Darren Lynn Bousman, director of the last three Saw films, has just signed on to direct an episode of the horror anthology series Fear Itself. According to Bloody-Disgusting, Bousman will direct the episode as soon as he finishes Repo! The Genetic Opera! for Lionsgate.

After Bousman films the Fear Itself episode he will begin production on Scanners for Dimension Films. Bousman currently has a two-picture deal with Dimension and the classic horror remake will be the first one.

NBC has not announced when they plan to air the Bousman directed episode of Fear Itself.
