David Charvet has landed the lead role in adventure, Prisoners of the Sun for Miromar Entertainment AG.

Roger Christian is drecting the film about an expedition to excavate a long-lost city beneath an Egyptian pyramid; Variety adds John Rhys-Davies co-stars.

Production on Prisoners of the Sun is under way in Morocco.
