Cable network ABC Family has picked up the dramedy The Other Mall, starring The Joe Schmo Show alums David Hornsby and Lance Krall.
The show, formally attached to Fox, revolves around the workers of an aging mall as they try to revamp the look to compete with a new shopping center just built across town, says Variety.
Similar to NBC's The Office, an unseen film crew will follow the workers as they go about their daily duties.
Hornsby and Krall wrote the original pilot, which they shot for $1,000. More episodes of The Other Mall will be shot for ABC Family's upcoming season.
