Fox Searchlight is negotiating a pitch package for director David O. Russell to direct a film about B-movie filmmaker Russ Meyer, who wrote, directed and produced films like Faster, Pussycat! Kill!... Kill! and Super Vixens that featured voluptuously buxom women in grindhouse-style films in the 1960s. Merritt Johnson will write the script.

The studio is in negotiations to secure the rights to the Jimmy McDonough book "Big Bosoms And Square Jaws: The Biography Of Russ Meyer, King Of The Sex Film."
