Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to the Vertigo Comics property FBP: Federal Bureau of Psychics by Simon Oliver and Robbi Rodriguez. Justin Marks (The Jungle Book) has been tapped to write the screenplay adaptation, with David S. Goyer (Man of Steel) set to produce.

The comic is set in a world where cosmic and supernatural disturbances happen constantly, which lead to the formation of the FBP: Federal Bureau of Psychics to deal with these events. The story follows Adam Young, a rising star in the FBP, tasked with investigating an alternate universe known as the "BubbleVerse," while realizing that his partner has sinister ulterior motives. The comic series was originally entitled Collider until it was changed last year.

Nellie Reed is producing alongside David S. Goyer, with Jon Berg overseeing the production for Warner Bros. No shooting schedule has been released at this time.

Justin Marks wrote the 2009 video game adaptation Street Fighter: Legend of Chun-Li, and he has several projects in development including The Jungle Book, which Jon Favreau is slated to direct, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Captain Nemo, The Raven, the Dead Space video game adaptation and an untitled action project for producer Jerry Bruckheimer.
