The celebrity competitors will be judged by Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith, with comedian Noel Fielding hosting the show in the United Kingdom. Fielding's cohost, comedian, and Bridesmaids actor Matt Lucas will also appear, wrapping up his hosting duties for the British Baking Show before he departs from the series. Lucas previously announced his exit from the cooking show back in December. He appeared on three seasons of The Great British Baking Show.

On social media, Lucas revealed the news by stating, "It's been a delicious experience and I can't imagine a more fun way of spending my summers, but it's become clear to me that I can't present both 'Fantasy Football League' and 'Bake Off' alongside all my other projects." He added, "So, after three series and 51 episodes, I am cheerfully passing the baguette on to someone else."

When about who'd make a suitable replacement for Lucas, judge Leith stated that she hoped the new addition would be so that she'd recognize. Leith told ITV's Lorraine, "I don't know anything about young comedians. I'd never heard of Noel Fielding until I met him. I'd like somebody that I've heard of." She then added, "I get to love them but the truth is that I've never understood Matt and Noel's jokes anyway. I adored Matt and he wanted to do more theatre."

The Great British Baking Show's Stand Up to Cancer celebrity special will be airing soon on Channel 4.
