David Slade has lined up another horror film to direct, this time without vampires. According to Variety, David Slade, who just recently signed on to direct The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, has come on board to direct a new horror film entitled Cold Skin

The director has reportedly been working on the project since the middle of 2008, before he was signed on for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Jesus Olmo (28 Weeks Later) is writing the script.

"With Cold Skin, I believe we can create a lasting psycho-physiological horror film. It is one of the most atmospheric, terrifying, cinematic and original stories of the human spirit," Slade said.

The film is starting up casting, with a budget around $25 million, and the film is scheduled to start filming in March 2010.
