After weeks of speculation, it has been confirmed that Terry Crews is playing Bedlam in Deadpool 2. Crews was featured in a blink-and-you-miss-it scene in the first trailer, which first led to speculation as to whether it was really him or not, and then led to questions of who he could be playing. The actor and the production remained silent during speculation and has still not said a word, but the new trailer for Deadpool 2 has all of the confirmation that we need, pinning Terry Crews to X-Force member Bedlam.

While Terry Crews is given a little bit more screen time in the new Deadpool 2 clip, he's still barely seen. However, upon closer inspection, the coloring of his suit matches those of Bedlam from the comics. But that's not the confirmation that was needed. Instead, we see a quick clip of Deadpool flipping through pictures for possible X-Force candidates, one of which is Terry Crews with the name Bedlam underneath. The other picture is of comedian Rob Delaney, who is playing a mutant named Peter, but there's no other information about Delaney's Peter character at this time.

Terry Crews was not even rumored to be in Deadpool 2, so it came as quite a shock when he popped up in the first trailer. Many automatically assumed that he was playing G.W. Bridge, who was originally from the mercenary group Wild Pack, or the Six Pack. Cable, Domino, and Deadpool have been members of the Six Pack at one time or another during the comics, so it was a safe bet. Another thought was that he could be playing Garrison Kane due to his connection to Cable as well. But these choices ended up wrong.

Bedlam was one of the most least likely candidates for Terry Crews to be portraying in Deadpool 2. The main reason is because Deadpool creator, Rob Liefeld, didn't create Bedlam, nor did Fabian Nicieza. Additionally, the character is in his early 20s in the comics, which many deemed the actor too old to play, and the character came on board X-Force later in the game. However, the character does have a strong history with Domino, since she helped him find his brother. It will be interesting to see how Terry Crews' Bedlam joins up with the Merc with a Mouth and his new X-Force in Deadpool 2.

Now that we know who Terry Crews is playing, it's time to figure out who Bill Skarsgard, Rob Delaney, and Shioli Kutsuna are playing. Kutsuna is more than likely playing mutant Surge, since the character can manipulate electricity, which is pretty much what it looks like Kutsuna is doing in the trailer. As for Skarsgard and Delaney, there's also Shatterstar and possibly Solo or even Rictor. It's too hard to tell at this point, but luckily, we only have 2 months left to go. Deadpool 2 will hit theaters on May 18th, and while you wait, you can check out the brand-new trailer for the sequel below, from the 20th Century Fox YouTube channel.
