If you're excited about seeing Deadpool 2, Thursday is going to be an important day for you. Via a string of new TV spots that debuted during the most recent episode of The Walking Dead, it's been revealed that tickets for the highly-anticipated sequel go on sale this Thursday. Considering that this is going to be one of the biggest movies of the summer season, it's likely that there are going to be a lot of people flooding ticket sites in order to lock down their seats as soon as the tickets are made available.

The Deadpool marketing team naturally found a way to make this reveal a little more interesting than it might be with your usual summer blockbuster. Fox debuted a series of three new spots for Deadpool 2 during The Walking Dead and Talking Dead and themed the night with the hashtag #WalkingDeadpool. The spots pick up where each previous spot left off, essentially forming a version of the full-length trailer for the movie, but with a few new shots spliced in here are there. But in the final spot, they made the announcement that tickets for the movie go on sale Thursday.

"#WalkingDeadpool may be done, but you and me... We're just getting started. Tickets for #Deadpool2 are on sale Thursday."

Previously, with movies like Star Wars: The Force Awakens that have incredibly high-demand for pre-sale tickets, sites like Fandango have experienced issues when the tickets go on sale. In recent years, these major issues have largely been eradicated, but it's not out of the realm of possibility that some glitches could occur when Deadpool 2 tickets first go up. It could depend on just how high the demand really is and, based on what happened with the first movie, there's reason to think it's going to be very high.

Deadpool bulldozed expectations and earned an incredible $132 million on its opening weekend in 2016, ultimately going on to make $783 million at the worldwide box office. While Deadpool 2 hasn't been tracking quite as high, there's still going to be a very high demand for tickets. So, if you have your heart set on getting into one of the very first showings on Thursday night, best try and grab some tickets as soon as they go up.

Unfortunately, as of this writing, it hasn't been revealed just when exactly on Thursday the Deadpool 2 tickets will be made available, but that should be revealed in the next couple of days. Something to keep your eyes peeled for. Deadpool 2 arrives in theaters on May 18, just three weeks after Avengers: Infinity War and a week before Solo: A Star Wars Story. Will that hurt Wade Wilson's box office potential? We'll have to wait and see how that all shakes out.
