A brand new TV spot and photo for Deadpool 2 have arrived online. The sequel is set to hit theaters next month and Fox is really starting to push it out to the general public in a major way. This new TV spot includes a decent chunk of new footage, but also includes a nice little Goonies reference as well, for those who are hoping that Wade Wilson is going to spend a decent chunk of time going over Josh Brolin's filmography.

This particular TV spot for Deadpool 2 primarily focuses on the conflict between Wade Wilson and Josh Brolin's Cable. At the end of the footage, Ryan Reynolds' Merc With a Mouth challenges Cable by saying, "Give me your best shot, One Eyed Willy." This is a clear reference to The Goonies, which is one of Brolin's notable early works from his long career. Breaking the fourth wall is nothing new to the world of Deadpool, but having Jish Brolin in this movie is clearly going to provide some fun opportunities such as this.

As for the new image from Deadpool 2, it's interesting for several reasons. For one, we see Wade sporting an X-Men shirt, standing alongside Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead. We see them facing down Hunt for the Wilderpeople star Julian Dennison, who is clearly going to be an important part of the movie. His character has yet to officially be revealed, but it's rumored that he's going to be playing a classic, old-school mutant from the world of Marvel Comics. Based on this photo, it looks like his character has caused quite a stir, as there are police and a crowd of people gathered around, with some fires burning on either side.

In addition to Cable, Deadpool 2 will be bringing Zazie Beetz into the fold as the mutant Domino, as well as the rest of the mutants that make up the X-Force team. Terry Crews and IT star Bill Skarsgard are included among the ranks of the mutants recruited by Wade Wilson for the team. Fox has plans to make an X-Force movie in the future, but it looks like this sequel is pretty much going to turn into one before it's all said and done. And by the looks of things, it could be a lot of fun. Depending on what happens with the Disney/Fox merger, we may not get an X-Force movie at all, so at least the team is going to appear here.

Deadpool 2 arrives in theaters on May 18, right in the heart of the summer movie seasons. Tickets for the movie go on sale this Thursday. Since the movie is expected to have a massive opening weekend, if you want to catch one of the first showings on opening night, it might be wise to grab your seats sooner rather than later.
