Following its phenomenal success at the box office, Deadpool has come home on Blu-ray and DVD today. To help celebrate the release, the Merc With the Mouth was given his own Honest Trailer. But this isn't your garden variety Honest Trailer. Given the meta nature of Deadpool, the the man behind the Merc With the Mouth, Ryan Reynolds suited up to make a foul-mouthed appearance in this takedown of the superhero blockbuster.

This new video from Screen Junkies features everything you've come to expect from an Honest Trailer, skewering plot points and other aspects of this raunchy adventure. This berated version of the Deadpool trailer point outs just how many other superhero movies this R-rated adventure has managed to out-gross. And then the Merc himself shows up, making an off-color Aquaman joke. A fully-costumed Ryan Reynolds then proceeds to team up with the Honest Trailer narrator to poke fun at the inordinate amount of dick jokes, while Reynolds even admits that they stole the "honest names" in the movie's opening credits from the Honest Trailer crew.

Deadpool goes on to say that he's only doing this video to promote Deadpool's release on Blu-ray and DVD, while copping to the fact that nobody even buys these "glorified coasters" anymore. Deadpool then takes aim at another popular YouTube presence, The Fine Brothers, and their series of React videos, as the anti-hero reveals he has to "crank out" some new Deadpool Reacts videos now that the brothers aren't suing people anymore. Unfortunately, the actor also tells the trailer narrator that he won't come back for the Deadpool 2 Honest Trailer. Hopefully he changes his mind between now and whenever that sequel hits theaters.

While 20th Century Fox hasn't officially given Deadpool 2 a release date yet, Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick are coming back to write the script, with director Tim Miller returning alongside Ryan Reynolds. It isn't clear yet whether or not any supporting cast members such as T.J. Miller, Morena Baccarin or Brianna Hildenbrand will return for this follow-up, but hopefully we'll get more details soon. A report surfaced last month that Ryan Reynolds has finalized his deal to return for the sequel, with shooting rumored to start as early as this fall.

Deadpool has earned $362.3 million domestically and $339.7 million internationally for a worldwide total of $761.9 million , making it the highest grossing R-rated movie of all time. The movie started its record-breaking run with the biggest R-rated opening weekend ever, taking in $132.4 million. While we wait for more details on Deadpool 2, check out this Honest Trailer for Deadpool, which you can now pick up on Blu-ray and DVD.
