We got through all of yesterday without a Deadpool story. An epic achievement considering how many photos, videos and other good stuff has been unleashed from this Marvel adaptation since it went into production a little over two weeks ago. Star Ryan Reynolds and the rest of his cast have been eager to share their entire experience as the film comes together on set. And that even includes sharing some awesome fan made art.
Today's poster gets the full approval of Ryan Reynolds, though it should be noted that this is not official. We don't see it beyond the realm of possibility for 20th Century Fox to announce some sort of fan event that offers them a chance to have their work seen by more people. This latest poster takes one of the recent set photos and turns it into something fun and epic. It also gives us the tagline: "With great power comes great irresponsibility." If you don't like that, don't throw too much of a fit. It probably won't be used in the real publicity materials.
We also have a look at early fan art that you may have missed, which shows Deadpool zooming down the road on a chimichanga truck. Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool will tell the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Take a look, and then share your own fan art. Maybe Ryan Reynolds will approve of it too!
There should be an award for fan art. pic.twitter.com/4Kge5FhoWk— Ryan Reynolds (@VancityReynolds) April 12, 2015
