Deadpool is set to have its second #1 weekend at the box office. And it has become a true phenomenon. The movie currently sits at $196.6 million domestic, $153 million overseas, for a global tally of $349 million. And in a surprising move, actors and directors from other studios are continuing to pour praise on the superhero adventure starring Ryan Reynolds as the colorful Merc with the Mouth.

This weekend, two Marvel heavyweights declared their love for Deadpool. Captain America himself, Chris Evans, congratulated Ryan Reynolds and his team for an Awesome movie. Here's what the star of Captain America: Civil War had to say.

"Wow.....Deadpool was AWESOME! Well done @VancityReynolds #killedit #maximumeffort"

Ryan Reynolds responded by declaring his allegiance to Team Cap on his personal Twitter page. Chris Evans wasn't the only Marvel actor who came out to show love and support for the non-Marvel Studios film. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Chris Pratt took a quick break in shooting his upcoming sequel to lavish Wade Wilson with some love.

"Believe the hype people! #Deadpool is as good as they come! Great job @VancityReynolds and @nottjmiller Badass, twisted, dark, funny & fun!"

Ghostbusters director Paul Feig is also a big fan of Deadpool, and has decided to show his support, even though his upcoming remake is housed over at Sony. The man has felt a lot of heat on the Internet for rebooting Ghostbusters with an all-female cast. He's taking a big chance with the franchise. And he points out that's part of Deadpool's charm. While a lot of people try to figure out why the X-Men spinoff was so successful, Paul Feig claims to know for a fact why it was such a blockbuster hit.

"Deadpool, The Blockbuster Whose Success No One Can Explain...I can explain it. It's an effing amazing movie. To me, it's the superhero "This Is The End." Game changing comedy that creates its own original tone & goes for it. And @VancityReynolds, you KILLED it in Deadpool. A game changing performance. There aren't enough kudos in the world to give you. Congrats!"

Not all of the love for Deadpool came out of house. Fellow X-Men franchise star Nicholas Hoult, who will be seen as Beast in this summer's X-Men: Apocalypse, thanked his comrade in the Fox MCU for making his Valentine's Day truly special. You can check out all the tweets below. And if you feel like watching the movie again, it's still playing in a theater near you this weekend!
