Following their epic April Fools' Day video used to announced Deadpool's R rating, Ryan Reynolds and Mario López had some fun on set yesterday, releasing a /deadpool-movie-photo-mario-lopez/photo of the Merc with a Mouth trying to kill the former Saved by the Bell actor. As we speculated, it was all for Extra's exclusive set visit. The video from that tour of duty has arrived, and shows Ryan Reynolds being grilled by Mario López about the upcoming Marvel adventure.

Don't go looking for anything too deep, though, as this interview doesn't really reveal anything new about the movie itself. We do get to see Ryan Reynolds in costume with his mask off, but most of the talk is focused on the April Fools' Day prank and how they might top themselves next year. Instead of any cool new plot points, we instead learn that Ryan Reynolds will take the next four months off after filming wraps to care for his child while his real-wife-life Blake Lively takes her turn shooting a movie. The actor also talks about getting hit by a car midway through the shoot. Don't worry, he's fine.

Based upon Marvel Comics' most unconventional anti-hero, Deadpool tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool . Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. The supporting cast includes Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Ed Skrein and T.J. Miller. Check out the latest from the set:
