According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Incredibles, the top-selling DVD of 2005, was honored here Thursday night as the best theatrical DVD title of the year by DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group.

At its annual press event during the Consumer Electronics Show, the DEG also honored four other DVDs released last year in its annual Creative Excellence Awards. The other winners are King Kong: Collector's Edition, from Warner Home Video, pegged as best catalog DVD title of the year; Lost: The Complete First Season, from Buena Vista, named best TV-DVD title; Family Guy Presents: Stewie Griffin, the Untold Story, from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, honored as best direct-to-DVD title; and No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, from Paramount Pictures Home Entertainment, which snagged best music DVD title honors.
