Dennie Gordon will direct the indie political satire, Harrison for America for Johnson-Roessler Company, the first flick for the new film and TV production company by David Johnson and Craig Roessler.

Written by Alex Berger, the film is a behind-the-scenes look at the cutthroat world of political fundraising. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Berger (the son of President Clinton's National Security Adviser Sandy Berger) wrote the script after interviewing professional fundraisers in Washington and Los Angeles.

Shooting on Harrison for America is set to begin in the spring.
