Dermot Mulroney plans to make his directorial debut with Keep It Together, a family comedy-drama centered around love and divorce.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story centers on an idealistic young newlywed who is also a marriage counselor who returns from her honeymoon only to learn that her parents, whom she saw as the model for a happy marriage, are getting a divorce.

Christopher Walken and Blythe Danner are in negotiations to play the older couple, with producers out to cast on the young female lead.

The project will be produced by Michelle Chydzik and Nathalie Marciano via their 26 Films banner. The script is written by Caprice Crane and Anouska Chydzik Bryson.
