Fans of Showtime's favorite killer will be glad to know Michael C. Hall will be around for two more seasons. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dexter has been renewed for two seasons by Showtime.

The order is for 12 episodes for each season, with the fourth season heading into production in the spring of 2009. The series was nominated for five Emmy's this past year, including noms for Hall for Best Actor in a Drama Series and a nomination for Best Drama Series.

Dexter stars Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, a police blood expert who spends his nights hunting down and killing Miami's worst. Julie Benz, Jennifer Carpenter and David Zayas.
