The hit Showtime series Dexter has lined up another high-profile guest star for Season 6, with Mos Def signing on to appear in a multi-episode arc.

The rapper/actor will portray an ex-con who says he has found religion, although he keeps finding himself in trouble with the law. Michael C. Hall's title character will expose the truth about Mos Def's character as the season progresses. It isn't known how many episodes Mos Def will appear in.

Two days ago we reported that Colin Hanks signed on for a major role in Season 6 of Dexter, although specific character details weren't given. This new report indicates Colin Hanks will appear in all 12 episodes of Season 6 as Travis, Dexter Morgan's main nemesis. Travis is an intelligent artifacts expert who is linked to a series of gruesome murders in Miami.

Production will start on Dexter Season 6 in June, with the season debuting sometime in the fall.
