Criminal: Y Tu Mama Tambien star Diego Luna has come along way since his supporting role in Vampires: Los Muertos, alongside Jon Bon Jovi, and is now attracting a lot of positive Hollywood attention. He's set to star as the lead in the sequel to Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights: Dirty Dancing 2, Open Range with Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall, and is now in talks to topline Criminal alongside John C. Reilly (Chicago; Gangs of New York; The Hours), according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Criminal is a con artist caper thriller about two men (Reilly and Luna) who team on a scam involving a forged set of extremely valuable stamps, the Nine Queens.

Warner Bros. Is set to distribute for Steven Soderbergh and George Clooney's Section Eight Productions. Production in June with Gregory Jacobs directing.

Jacobs, Soderbergh's longtime first assistant director, co-wrote the English version of the screenplay with Soderbergh. Soderbergh and Clooney will produce, with Section Eight's Jennifer Fox and Ben Cosgrove executive producing.
