With a crowded summer month ahead, it seems one studio is steering one comedy clear of some heavy hitters. Variety is reporting that Paramount has moved its upcoming comedy Dinner for Schmucks back one week from July 23 to July 30.

The site reports that the studio made the move to distance itself from big-budget blockbusters like Inception, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio and will be released on July 16, and the Angelina Jolie action film Salt, which opens on July 23.

Dinner for Schmucks, which stars Steve Carell and Paul Rudd, will now be going up against the Zac Efron drama Charlie St. Cloud and the family comedy sequel Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore in the July 30 frame.
