Director Ti West has finally decided on his eagerly awaited follow-up to the critically acclaimed 80s horror throwback House of the Devil. According to Variety, the director will now jump behind the lens of The Inkeepers. Dark Sky Films is set to produce the project alongside Larry Fessenden's Glass Eye Pix.

This spooky tale will revolve around two hotel employees trying to keep their haunted establishment afloat. West intends for the film to be a "truly horrifying" experience for his fans. Fessenden wrote the original screenplay. No other details about the film were made available at this time. In related news, West's long shelved follow-up Cabin Fever 2, a sequel to Eli Roth's hit film, is scheduled to hit DVD this February.

Shooting on The Inkeepers is set to take place in Connecticut later this spring.
