Exclusive Media Group will rep worldwide rights in all media excluding US and Canada to the feature film Disconnect, an intense ensemble drama directed by Academy Award nominated Henry Alex Rubin (documentary Murderball) and written by Andrew Stern, it was announced today by Exclusive co-chairmen Nigel Sinclair and Guy East. Produced by William Horberg of Wonderful Films, and Mickey Liddell and Jennifer Hilton of Liddell Entertainment, the film boasts a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Jason Bateman, Hope Davis, Frank Grillo, Michael Nyqvist, Paula Patton, Andrea Riseborough, Alexander Skarsgård, Max Thieriot, as well as rising newcomers Colin Ford, Jonah Bobo and Haley Ramm. Marc Forster and Bradford Simpson executive produce.

Exclusive Films International's Alex Walton, President, International Sales and Distribution will handle the international distribution for Disconnect and will unveil the film for sales at the upcoming American Film Market. Alex Brunner, Co-President of Exclusive Films International, championed the film on behalf of Exclusive. CAA is handling the North American rights to the film.

Currently in production on location in New York and set to wrap filming on November 7, 2011, Disconnect interweaves three emotional potboiler storylines about people searching for human connection in today's wired world of the internet. By turns comic, harrowing and touching, Disconnect explores the consequences of living life everywhere but right where you are.

Rubin makes his narrative feature debut on Disconnect and honed his skills directing second unit on Girl, Interrupted and Cop Land as well as directing the acclaimed documentary Who Is Henry Jaglom? in addition to the award-winning Murderball.
