It appears the Mouse House is cleaning house!

In a story from DavisDVD, The Walt Disney Co. is jettisoning the "Buena Vista brand" and will be changing the titles of many of its "entertainment divisions."

Apparently, the Mouse House hopes to "reduce costs and simplify marketing by narrowing the company's holdings to the core brands of Disney, ABC and ESPN." In fact, last February, divisions such as Touchstone Television and Buena Vista Games changed their titles to ABC Television Studio and Disney Interactive Studios, respectively.

Buena Vista Distribution, Buena Vista International and Buena Vista Home Entertainment will all find themselves with new names "in the coming weeks."
