Disney Channel has been home to an array of different shows. Of all of Disney Channel's series, some, more than others, had a specific question hanging in the air that had audiences waiting to discover the answer. Phil of the Future relied on the premise that the Diffy family was stranded in the early twenty-first century and would have to figure out how to fit in until they could eventually return home. Would they ever get home? Would their secret be revealed? The series finale finally delivered an answer for the viewers. Hannah Montana also faced one of the biggest questions surrounding Miley's double identity as the title character. Hannah Montana was a way to give Miley a private personal life and live her dream, but the reality of living a double life would have to come crashing down on her at some point, right?

Which of the Russo siblings would become the Family Wizard on Wizards of Waverly Place? The concept of the Wizard Competition was introduced in season one, appeared as a massive moment in Wizards of Waverly Place: The Movie, and the entire fourth season surrounded the build-up to the long-awaited competition. Meanwhile, other shows relied on long-time payoffs, such as Zack and Cody's six-year time spent on Disney Channel leading up to their high school graduation or Ron Stoppable's embrace of Mystic Monkey Power.

Whether the Diffy family would ever find their way back to 2121 was an overarching plot for the show's entirety. Phil of the Future revealed several gadgets that would come to fruition one day, while Lloyd constantly worked on the time machine in a desperate plea to return to the family's home time. Although Phil grows to love the twenty-first century, growing close to his best friend, Keely, Phil of the Future concludes with the time machine in working order and Phil and his family finally returning home.

9 Liv and Maddie: Leaving Home

Liv and Maddie Parker, Joey, Liv, and Maddie
Disney Channel

Liv and Maddie followed the aftermath of Liv returning home after years away filming her television show, Sing It Loud. However, moving everyone from Wisconsin to California in its final season allows the Rooney family to interact with new people and have unexplored experiences, inevitably leading to a series finale that sees all four Rooney siblings leaving home. The final scene, huddled around the campfire with Liv singing the show's theme song before everyone goes their separate ways, shows how much everyone has grown.

8 Andi Mack: Growing Up

Andi Mack Buffy, Andi, Cyrus, and Jonah
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

As Andi Mack ended, the show addressed numerous more extensive plot lines, including the uncertainty of romantic partners. But, the series finale is generally about what it means to grow up, how looking back on the past helps understand how much they have grown, and what it means to move forward. The series finale is a party celebrating the show's three seasons, the barriers that were broken, and the excitement toward what comes next.

7 Hannah Montana: Taking Off the Wig

Hannah Montana Miley, Lily, and Oliver
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

It was a long-time coming, but with only a few episodes left, Hannah Montana took off her blonde wig, revealing her double identity as an average teenager, Miley Stewart. Hannah Montana continued to show the aftermath of taking off the wig, including the lack of privacy Miley faces in her personal life. However, there was no other way Hannah Montana could end. If one thing needed to happen before the final credits rolled, it would reveal the truth about how Miley's double identity had finally closed in on her, leaving her no choice but to take off the wig.

6 The Suite Life On Deck: Graduation

The Suite Life on Deck Zack, Cody, and Mr. Moseby
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

Transitioning from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody to The Suite Life on Deck meant that audiences had spent six years with Zack, Cody, London, and Mr. Moseby, so it only fitted the spinoff ended with graduation. Although the S.S. Tipton is stripped in the series finale, the emotion in the ending surrounds London leaving Zack, Cody, and Mr. Moseby behind after finally finishing high school while Zack and Cody prepare for uncertain futures. While it may not have been the expected conclusion, considering Cody's college rejection, it is a culmination of six years of seeing these characters grow up. Mr. Moseby's marriage engagement is a nice touch as well.

5 Phineas And Ferb: Last Day of Summer

Phineas and Ferb Baljeet, Isabella, Phineas, Ferb, and Buford
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

Even though Phineas and Ferb has been revived for two more seasons, the original series finale was a big deal, finally drawing a close to the most extended summer ever. The last day of summer vacation follows Candace and Dr. Doofenshmirtz in a Groundhog Day-like scenario, as they eventually realize the only way to save the world is to stop the machine. Meanwhile, Phineas, Ferb, and their friends go through several final inventions before helping Candace end the machine's reign of terror and performing one last song that recalls many of the show's greatest inventions.

4 Lizzie McGuire: Performing Live

Lizzie McGuire Movie Lizzie and Gordo
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Although The Lizzie McGuire Movie was not technically a Disney Channel Original Movie, it did end the series with Lizzie performing at an awards show at the Roman Colosseum. Lizzie's conclusion does not see her continuing a professional singing career in Italy. But, it does give Lizzie a big confidence boost in preparation for high school. The Lizzie McGuire Movie even allows Lizzie and Kate to have a chance at starting their friendship again and delivers closure for the budding romance between Lizzie and Gordo.

3 Kim Possible: Saving the World

Kim Possible Drakken, Ron, Shego, and Kim
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

Kim Possible has always been the world savior, and while she has plenty of epic world-saving moments in the series finale, Kim Possible's conclusion also allows Ron, Dr. Drakken, and Shego to step up. Ron finally taps into the full extent of his Mystic Monkey Power, and Shego and Dr. Drakken experience an unexpected switch to the hero's side of things to prevent Warmonga from taking over and destroying the world. The team-up between Kim, Ron, Shego, and Drakken offers Kim Possible's best villains the chance to succeed, even if it is at saving the world, not taking it over. At the same time, Ron finally can have a lock on the power that has come and gone since he initially gained it.

2 Girl Meets World: Massive Reunion

Girl Meets World Feeny, Riley, and Maya
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

Girl Meets World's final episode may not have been the perfect conclusion for the series. Still, it delivered a massive Boy Meets World reunion by bringing back nearly every significant character from both shows to help Topanga make a tremendous career and life decision between staying in New York City or moving to London. While Riley and Maya are an integral part of the finale, the highlight of the episode is seeing so many Boy Meets World alumnus reunite and interact with each other after so many years.

1 Wizards of Waverly Place: Who Will Be the Family Wizard

Wizards of Waverly Place Max, Alex, and Justin
Disney--ABC Domestic Television

Wizards of Waverly Place delivered Disney Channel's most-watched series finale, promising to reveal who would become the Russo Family Wizard. Finally, after four seasons of magical mishaps, the Wizard Competition was happening. With a perfect mix of comedy, nostalgia for the show's past, and implementing the importance of family above magic, the Russo family eventually demonstrates a sense of unity and loyalty that reflects their willingness to put each other first, even though they have to make it through the pain of losing magic first.

In the end, Alex became the Family Wizard, with Justin given control of Wiztech, and Max was promised to take over the Waverly Substation, which he had proven to be good at in previous episodes. The question of who would become the Family Wizard had been hanging over the show's head since season one, and giving the audience an answer allowed closure for the show.
