Disney has picked up an untitled project about a female detective from screenwriting newcomer Ashley Bradley, produced by Green Lantern co-writer and Marc Guggenheim.
This is the second female detective project at Disney: in March, the studio picked up the rights to Agatha Christie's Miss Marple.
The plot details are being kept under wraps, but the project revolves around a young woman who finds out she is the descendant of a legendary detective and is forced to take up the sleuthing mantle.
No production date has been set.
