MTV debuted the first trailer for the highly-anticipated Divergent during the 30th Annual MTV Video Music Awards earlier tonight, following the first look we showed you last week. Neil Burger directs this adaptation of Veronica Roth's young adult novel, which follows a young woman named Tris Prior (Shailene Woodley), a "divergent" who doesn't fit into any one of the five factions that everyone must live under.
