Don't have plans for Memorial Day? That's okay, Netflix has you covered! The streaming giant has just announced Memorial Day weekend as the launching date for their second original Adam Sandler movie following The Ridiculous 6. They've also released a short trailer teasing some of the big action and even bigger laughs that will be on display in this riff on 80s TV classic Magnum P.I.

The life of a bank manager is turned upside down when a friend from his past manipulates him into faking his own death and taking off on an adventure in The Do Over! Netflix surprised everyone when they dropped this first look footage out of the blue, proving that they have one hot summer lined up. The Do Over will hit the worldwide streaming giant on Friday, May 27.

Adam Sandler plays Max, re-teaming with his old Saturday Night Live pal David Spade as Charlie, two life-long friends who are about to give their mundane lives a jolt of electricity when they reunite at their 25th High School reunion. The pair decided to wipe the slate clean for the ultimate 'Do Over'. So they fake their own deaths, and assume new identities. But will life really be that much better the second time around?

The Do Over is directed by longtime Adam Sandler collaborator Steven Brill. The filmmaker is responsible for such Adam Sandler comedies as Little Nicky and Mr. Deeds. The rest of the ensemble cast includes such comedy heavyweights as Paula Patton, Kathryn Hahn, and Luis Guzman. Michael Chiklis, Sean Astin, Catherine Bell, Natasha Leggero, Nick Swardson, Torsten Voges, Renee Taylor and Matt Walsh round out the cast.

Adam Sandler and David Spade first appeared together on the big screen in the 1993 comedy Coneheads. While they've cameoed in a number of each other's movies over the years, the pair headlined 2010's Grown Ups and its 2013 sequel Grown Ups 2. They also both lent their voices to the animated blockbuster smash Hotel Transylvania and its sequel. The Do Over will mark the first time the pair have teamed up as a comedy duo.
