Night Nurse and Wong Get Doctor Strange Character Posters

Rachel McAdams and Benedict Wong are featured on the first Doctor Strange Character Posters, which arrive with 10 new photos.

Let the Doctor Strange onslaught begin! This fall, Marvel will introduce a new kind of superhero as Stephen Strange makes his big screen debut in November. This Phase 3 adventure will bring a whole cavalcade of iconic Marvel characters including Night Nurse and Strange's loyal assistant Wong. Today, we get new character posters featuring these characters, along with 10 more photos.

Rachel McAdams stars as Christine Palmer, aka Night Nurse, who helps Doctor Strange in his quest to become The Sorcerer Supreme. And Benedict Wong stars a Wong, who was seen as Strange's assistant in the comic books, but is getting a modern day makeover in this adaptation. These two character posters also arrive alongside a third poster that features the Strange one himself.

Along with the three character posters, Marvel has released 10 new photos, which show Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange training alongside Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One and Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo. We also get a glimpse behind-the-scenes with our leading man and his director Scott Derrickson.

In Doctor Strange, Dr. Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), a young, arrogant surgeon with a promising career, loses his ability to operate after a terrible accident. Despondent and suicidal, Dr. Strange seeks advice from a mystical being known as the Ancient One and learns that he is the newly designated Sorcerer Supreme, responsible for protecting the planet from evil. With his girlfriend Clea and his loyal assistant Wong in tow, Strange sets out to fulfill his destiny.

Mads Mikkelsen stars as the villain Kaecilius. Michael Stuhlbarg (Pawn Sacrifice), Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum), and Amy Landecker ("Transparent") also star in this intense deep dive into the mystical side of the Marvel universe. Scott Derrickson is directing from a script by Jon Spaihts and C. Robert Cargill. Doctor Strange hits theaters and IMAX on Friday, November 4, 2016.
