With the film still playing in movie theaters, the mind-bending alternate realities of the multiverse are still enthralling movie theater audiences worldwide. But soon, MCU fans won't have to leave their homes to re-watch the horror-ific film again and again. Marvel Studios recently announced Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will debut on all major digital platforms on June 22, 2022. And for Earth 1218's denizens who also want to purchase a copy of the film on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, or DVD, they can do so on July 26.

In Sam Raimi's return to Marvel, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) must enlist help from old and new allies as he traverses mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities in order to confront a surprising adversary, the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen). Starring alongside Cumberbatch and Olsen, in Doctor Strange 2, are Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Rachel McAdams as Christine, and Michael Stühlbarg as Dr. Nic West (Stephen's former colleague).

The film also introduced America Chavez, played by Marvel newcomer Xochitl Gomez, who, by the way, loves how her character was introduced to the MCU. "I loved how they put America in a Doctor Strange film because she has this amazing ability to travel the Multiverse," Gomez is quoted as saying in the press release. "It doesn’t feel forced. It just works. I’m so happy that the writers were able to fit America’s story in just perfectly. And I love how young she is because we haven’t really seen that."
