Later tonight, fans will get to see an exclusive sneak peek of Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Doctor Strange, which is being showed in over 100 IMAX theaters across the country. To get fans ready for this big event, Marvel Entertainment has released a new preview, with producer and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and star Benedict Cumberbatch revealing how this superhero adventure introduces the multiverse into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. We also hear from director Scott Derrickson, who states that the IMAX format is more immersive, and each set piece is filmed in ways that audiences haven't seen before.

Kevin Feige also spoke about Doctor Strange comic book artist Steve Ditko, and how we now have the technology present to bring the "trippy" 1960s comic book panels he drew to life on the big screen. The producer also revealed that they aren't "pulling back" on the visual effects, as you can see with the new footage in this Marvel Entertainment video. We don't know for sure if the 15-minute preview will surface online between tonight at the November 4 release date, so stay tuned.

He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange-armed with newly acquired magical powers-is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence.
