The Cloak of Levitation has found a new friend in Dr. Stephen Strange in the latest TV spot for Marvel's Doctor Strange. We've seen the good doctor wear this cloak in the previously released trailers, but here Baron Mordo (Chiweltel Ejiofor) tells Strange that the Cloak really "likes" him. The Sorcerer Supreme will certainly need this item to defeat the nefarious Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen), who is also seen briefly in this sneak peek.

From Marvel Studios comes Doctor Strange, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place-a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality.

Before long Strange - armed with newly acquired magical powers-is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. The all-star cast includes Oscar winner Tilda Swinton as The Ancient One, Rachel McAdams as Night Nurse, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, Benedict Wong as Wong and Amy Landecker and Scott Adkins in unspecified roles. Marvel has set a November 4 release date for Doctor Strange, putting it up against Lionsgate's Hacksaw Ridge and DreamWorks Animation's Trolls.

In the comic books, there were actually two different versions of the Cloak of Levitation, both of which were given to the Doctor by The Ancient One. The first cloak he was given was a blue cloak, which contains minor spells and other abilities woven into it. He receives the red cloak which he's traditionally seen wearing by The Ancient One after he defeated the villainous Dormammu, since he was then deemed worthy of wearing the cloak after defeating this villain. It isn't known if the blue cloak will be featured in the movie at all, but we see plenty of the red cloak in this TV spot from YouTube.

Producer and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed in an interview from earlier this year that the Cloak of Levitation almost has a "consciousness of its own," as we can see in this TV spot. Doctor Strange is directed by Scott Derrickson, from a script he co-wrote with C. Robert Cargill and Jon Spaihts. Take a look at the latest TV spot below from Doctor Strange, as we get closer and closer to its release on November 4.
