Domhnall Gleeson and Finn Wittrock have signed on to join Jack O'Connell in Unbroken for director Angelina Jolie.

We first reported on this project in December, when Angelina Jolie signed on to direct this adaptation of Laura Hillenbrand's book that recounts the true story of Louis Zamperini. Jack O'Connell is playing Zamperini, a former Olympic track star who survived a plane crash in World War II, staying alive on a life raft with two fellow soldiers (Domhnall Gleeson and Finn Wittrock) for 28 days. They were later caught and thrown into a Japanese POW camp.

Angelina Jolie is directing from a screenplay by Joel Coen and Ethan Coen, based on Laura Hillenbrand's book. The director is also producing alongside Erwin Stoff, Clayton Townsend and Matthew Baer, with Mick Garris executive producing. Shooting is scheduled to begin this fall.

Domhnall Gleeson most recently starred in Anna Karenina, Shadow Dancer and the upcoming About Time. Finn Wittrock stars in the upcoming Noah and Winter's Tale.
