Salon is reporting that Dominic Cooper will portray a young Howard Stark, founder of Stark Industries and father to Tony Stark, in Captain America: The First Avenger.

Cooper joins an interesting assembly of talent including Chris Evans as the titlular Avenger, Hugo Weaving as the diabolical Red Skull, Toby Jones as evil scientist Arnim Zola, Hayley Atwell as Cap's love interest Peggy Carter, Sebastian Stan as Cap's sidekick Bucky Barnes.
