The wilderness comes alive April 10!

Starz Home Entertainment announces the April 10th DVD premiere of Don Coscarelli's 1989 thriller Survival Quest -- fully restored from original vault elements under the personal supervision of Mr. Coscarelli and remastered in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Ex sound. SRP is $14.98 and pre-book is February 28th. Survival Quest will be released on the same day Anchor Bay Entertainment releases Don Coscarelli's Phantasm and Phantasm III on DVD.

Packed with suspense, breath-taking action and boasting an all-star cast - many at the start of their film careers -- including Dermot Mulroney (My Best Friend's Wedding), Catherine Keener (The 40 Year-Old Virgin), Lance Henriksen (Aliens), Mark Rolston (The Departed), Steve Antin (The Goonies), Ben Hammer (The Beastmaster) and veteran Coscarelli collaborator Reggie Bannister (Phantasm 1-4), there's no guessing why Amazon.com declared Survival Quest "well worth your time."

For five strangers from the city, it was supposed to be the ultimate wilderness challenge: Four weeks at the North Rockies Survival Quest School led by a tough-as-nails instructor (Lance Henriksen). When the group crosses paths with a sadistic paramilitary squad, a shocking accident transforms their nature trek into a desperate life-and-death struggle. Armed only with the survival skills they have just learned, they must make their way through the wilderness, surviving the brutal elements while keeping one step ahead of their vicious pursuers!
