Don Johnson is set to return to series television with the upcoming dramedy A Mann's World for NBC. Michael Patrick King is the creator behind this new project, which is being compared to the 1975 comedy Shampoo, which starred Warren Beatty.
A Mann's World will follow a fifty-year-old straight hairdresser in Beverly Hills who finds himself struggling to remain reverent amongst his younger peers. In an attempt to keep his salon going, he purchases the day spa next door.
A Mann's World is currently being targeted for a fall debut. The pilot will shoot sometime in the near future.
