Welcome to Victory, where you can live the life you deserve! The second full-length trailer for Olivia Wilde’s upcoming psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling dropped, and we cannot be more hyped. The film is said to follow the people of Victory, a community in the 1950s. We have the typical housewives kissing their husbands goodbye every morning when they go to work, dinner parties, drinks with the ladies, clean houses, and mowed lawns — all in a picturesque American suburb. However, that all takes a turn when our main character Alice, played by Florence Pugh, begins to break through the community’s smokescreen of perfection and unravels the dark twisted secrets that lie underneath.

Along with being one of the most highly anticipated projects coming out this year, Don’t Worry Darling has an absolutely stacked cast that will be a force to be reckoned with. Of course, it includes some seasoned names such as the incomparable Florence Pugh, Gemma Chan, and Chris Pine, as well as the inclusion of a new yet recognizable face in film in Harry Styles. Don't Worry Darling is coming out on September 23 and if you are as excited about this movie as we are, let’s check out some of the other roles that the actors in Don’t Worry Darling have played before.

Did you say that Florence Pugh is starring in this movie? Consider it a must-watch in our books! Pugh is no stranger to the spotlight, and she has graced our movie screens with unmatched poise, presence, and raw talent that make her filmography the stuff of legend. Before her role as Alice in Don't Worry Darling, Pugh played Amy March in Greta Gerwig's Little Women and Katherine Lester in Lady Macbeth. She was also the star of the unforgettable horror film Midsommar as Dani, making her an excellent fit for this kind of psychological thriller. It does not stop there! In more of a pop culture sense, you may recognize Pugh from her role as Yelena Belova in the MCU.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles, most known for his music career, is considered to be one of the most exciting new faces in the film world. Styles' role as Jack in Don't Worry Darling has us on the edge of our seats. In 2017, Styles made his film debut as Alex in Christopher Nolan's war drama Dunkirk. Since then, Styles has been the subject of a massive surprise in an iconic MCU post-credit scene. He was introduced as Eros at the end of Marvel's Eternals. In an interview with MTV News, Kevin Feige recently confirmed at San Diego's Comic-Con that we will see more of Eros in the MCU moving forward. Styles will also be starring as Tom in the upcoming movie adaptation of Bethan Robert's LGBTQ+ romance novel, My Policeman which is set to release in October this year.

Olivia Wilde

Quiet on the set! Our director is on-screen! Yes, Olivia Wilde is the director of Don't Worry Darling and she is part of the star-studded cast as the character Bunny. And by the looks of the trailers, Wilde is in her element in both the filmmaking and her acting. Throughout her career as an actress, Wilde has played a variety of roles. She played Sadie in the 2018 mystery A Vigilante and tried on some horror in her role as Zoe in The Lazarus Effect. Wilde also appeared regularly in the drama series House as Remy Hadley (Thirteen).

Chris Pine

In a Hollywood full of famous and handsome Chris(es), seeing Chris Pine be so threatening and menacing in Don't Worry Darling is a refreshing (and terrifying) change of pace for the actor. In Pine's long and incredible career, we remember him for being the ever-so-charming Nicholas in The Princess Diaries and as Cinderella's absolutely hilarious prince in the musical Into The Woods. And what is a great actor without a nice sci-fi film under his belt? Pine was Admiral James T. Kirk in Star Trek. Unlike his costars, Pine is part of the DCEU superhero franchise, playing Steve Trevor in DC's Wonder Woman.

Gemma Chan

Gemma Chan has made a name for herself in this industry and any project she is a part of should automatically be on your radar. You may recognize her as Astrid in the 2018 romantic comedy Crazy Rich Asians. Also, don't count her out from being involved in the massive franchises. Like some of her co-stars in this film, Chan is part of the MCU, playing Sersi in Eternals and Doctor Minerva in Captain Marvel. Chan is also present in the TV world, playing Mia in the sci-fi show Humans.

Douglas Smith

Are you a fan of young adult movies? Horror? What about comedy? Well, Douglas Smith's filmography checks off all those boxes. If Smith is looking slightly familiar in this film, but you can't quite put a finger on what is different, it may be the number of eyes he has here. You might recognize him from his role as Tyson, a cyclops, in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. Before he was cast in Wilde's psychological thriller/horror movie, Smith already had his foot dipped in the genre, playing Elliot in the 2017 film The Bye Bye Man. Talk about range! In addition to all that, Smith found himself playing Mica in a drama-comedy entitled Treading Water.

Kiki Layne

Wow, this cast just gets better and better. Kiki Layne plays Margaret in Don't Worry Darling, and she is going to absolutely smash it. Layne is most known for her role as Meeka in Coming 2 America and as Clementine in the romantic drama film If Beale Street Could Talk. She is also fantastic as Nile Freeman in The Old Guard, an action fantasy film that came out in 2020. (Per Collider, Layne is currently filming The Old Guard 2 with Charlize Theron.) And who could forget Layne's incomparable performance as Bessie in 2019's Native Son?

Nick Kroll

NickKroll
New Line Media

We all love Nick Kroll — what's not to love? Kroll's comedic chops are littered all over his previous roles and projects. Kroll voices two characters, Nick and Maury, in the animated comedy show Big Mouth. Along those same lines, Kroll knows exactly where his niche is. He voices Gunter in Sing and as Douche in the shocking adult animated film Sausage Party. Also, Kroll plays Ruxin in the 7-season long sitcom The League.
