Indian doctor Deepak Veer Chopra (Vinay Virmani) meets his new friend Rani (Mircea Monroe) for the first time in our exclusive clip from the upcoming comedy Dr. Cabbie, arriving on Digital HD and VOD formats February 2. This scene also features Lillete Dubey and Rizwan Manji as Deepak's aunt and uncle, who help him get settled in his new home. As Deepak will eventually find out, there isn't much of a future for an Indian-trained doctor in Canada.

After trying to find work as a doctor in Toronto, Deepak becomes a cabbie with his new friend Tony (Kunal Nayyar) and numerous other Indian cab drivers who have exceptional educational credentials. The plot thickens when this doctor-turned-cab driver delivers his passenger's (Adrianne Palicki) baby, turning him into a local hero. He eventually converts his taxi into a mobile clinic as he treats a number of patients throughout the city.

Dr. Cabbie is a heartwarming comedy about a young Indian doctor who immigrates to Canada and faces roadblocks in his effort to heal others but discovers his true purpose, and true love, along the way. The supporting cast also includes Chris Diamantopoulos, Stephen McHattie, Judah Katz and Tia Bhatia. In addition to this exclusive clip, we also have two music videos, new photos and even more clips from this new comedy.

Vinay Virmani not only stars in director Jean-François Pouliot's Dr. Cabbie, but he also serves as a producer and co-wrote the script with Ron Kennell and Manu Chopra. While we don't see her in this exclusive clip, this movie also marks the feature film debut of YouTube sensation Lilly Singh, who is a Canadian native herself. While this movie won't be getting a theatrical release, it certainly may find a wide audience when it's released on Digital HD and VOD formats next week.

Take a look at our exclusive clip, along with the music videos and photos, from Dr. Cabbie with Vinay Virmani and Mircea Monroe. The actress can also be seen in theaters this weekend in the spoof comedy Fifty Shades of Black. Will you be giving Dr. Cabbie a chance when it debuts on Digital HD and VOD in just a few short days?
