DreamWorks has picked up Genneris, an original sci-fi spec script from Nic Kelman.

The studio is keeping the logline under wraps, but the project is a high-concept sci-fi film.

Also, Twentieth Century Fox has picked up rights to Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi.

Set in a dystopian world, Shatter Me is the story of a 17-year-old girl imprisoned for possessing a fatal touch. As she watches everything crumble around her, she must choose between relinquishing her power or use it to save the world.

No production dates have been set.
