In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, DreamWorks will be remaking Fright Night.
The movie is being produced by Michael Gaeta and Alison Rosenzweig of Gaeta/Rosenzweig Films. Michael De Luca is also producing.
Mark Sourian, DreamWorks co-president of production, is overseeing this project for DreamWorks.
The original Fright Night was written and directed by Tom Holland in 1985. That film was a horror comedy about a teenager who realizes that his neighbors are vampires.
No writer has currently been picked but the idea is to keep the tone of the original.
