Drew Barrymore is turning her attentions to basic cable this week. According to Variety, she is executive producing a show called Clash of the Music Videos for the music-themed channel VH1.

The show will be a music-video competition that sees two contestants competing against each other. Each contestant will be given a small amount of money to remake a classic video from the 80s. The musical acts that appeared in the original videos will get to pick the winner.

Each show will stand on its own, with new competitors every week. VH1 plans to premier the show in early 2008. It is unlikely that Barrymore will be appearing on the program.
